Jinsol tr'Asenth

Backstory

. Early Life  .Jinsol was born on Romulus at their family's estate in I'Ramnau. They were one of many children of Terrh tr'Asenth who was the leader of the infamous Asenth house. The Asenth house was forcefully annexed by the Khellian house in the early 22nd century and its members forced to do the Khellians' bidding. Jinsol was born towards the end of this internal war between the Khellians and Asenths.Jinsol was a sickly child, but being from a powerful family, they were able to receive quality private healthcare. Jinsol still struggled with their disabilities, but as they grew older, they learned how to hide it better. As per Khellian tradition, Jinsol was raised a girl as part of a superstition that girls were not targets from evil spirits.As Jinsol got older, their mothers knew that they'd be forced to fight the civil war between the Khellians and Asenths or become a pawn in it. They hatched a plan to escape to a distant colony. Jinsol's father, Terrh, tried to stop them but only managed to kill one of Jinsol's mothers. Terrh promised to get Jinsol back one day...Jinsol was raised on the Romulan colony of Charvanek from ages 2-19. They were a bit of a troublemaker, but they worked hard. The colony was independent and had it's own political system. Jinsol was great when it came to gossip and because of that, often helped with campaigns when it came time for student council elections.. University Life  .When Jinsol was 19, they were approached by a strange man who turned out to be Terrh! Their mother had kept all information about their family a secret and they were interested in learning more about their history. Jinsol was pretty lost with what they wanted to do in life up until that point and their father offered them good education and a job. So Jinsol left their colony and headed to Rator III.When Jinsol arrived on Rator III, they enrolled in university and decided to study political science. They already had experience doing that on Charvanek after all. Jinsol also made friends with the Khellians who were hesitant at first, but many of them thought Jinsol would be a good person to try and manipulate. Jinsol worked as a double agent, keeping their distance from Terrh, but also informing him of any Khellian bullshit happening. They were so good at this, they became the next in line for the Khellian matriarch position.. Intelligence Recruitment  .When Jinsol was 34, they travelled to the independent colony of Rhi III to do more research about outer colony politics. They had long grown tired of the politics on Rator III and the Khellian house as a whole. They didn't quite get along with their father still and they never even liked the Free State.The colony was technically independent, but had been in talks with D'Tan and his growing Flotilla for quite a while. Jinsol heard about the Republic and spoke to a couple officers who seemed to be really intrigued by Jinsol's work history. Jinsol had long been looking to do something 'good' besides just hanging around with senators and his family. The Republic had heard that the Khellians had Tal Shiar operatives in their ranks and tasked Jinsol to try and infiltrate said ranks. Jinsol took on the task as a new member of D'Tan's Romulan Republic.Jinsol stayed serving the Tal Shiar as a double agent / informant for about 4 years before defecting and joining D'Tan's Republic.. RRW Vadasko: 2409 - 2411  .Jinsol was stationed on the Vadasko, the ship they had boarded with the Tal Shiar, but now they were a Republic intelligence officer. The ship liberated the prisoners from Installment 18 and amongst those prisoners was— Jinsol’s father! Terrh was very different from the man that Jinsol had seen on Rator III. He was remorseful of his actions and felt bad that he got Jinsol caught up in them. He told Jinsol that he loved them and was proud of them. He also revealed the origins of Jinsol’s name – It was not a Romulan name as Jinsol was well aware of, but a name after a star that meant “true leader”. He knew from the day Jinsol was born that they were going to be a star and achieve great things.. RRW Tenakruvek: 2411 - present  .Jinsol served on the Tenakruvek and during a routine science trip, their consciousness was switched with a neirrhs! It took about a week to switch Jinsol back. Once Jinsol was back in their own body, the neiirrh they had switched to did not seem to want to leave them. This prompted Jinsol to get their falconry license so they could officially adopt the neiirrh. They named the neiirrh Jinsol, same as them.
